R.I.P. Ria

Angela's aunt Ria passed away about 10 minutes ago (22:00).
After having suffered extremely the past months (from January onwards) with even having one of her legs amputed, it became clear that we were fighting a loosing battle.
Wounds didn't heal, a heart which partly stopped working & fluid behind her lungs. This coupled with diabetes prevented her from becoming self reliant after going to the hospital in January.
She never saw her own house again...
We will miss her deeply. Especially the talking with her for hours, the gossiping and laughing...
And also the fact that she was the only family (next to Angela's sisters) that was left after dad died... The only close family that we visited and shared with.
R.I.P. Ria, I'm glad to have known you and we will miss you. The only good thing is that your suffering has ended now...
