Wonderful times (6th of February)

It was wonderful today! Angela and I first went to the radioclub and then Kaye came over and we went to the beach. Chatting most of the time in one of the beach restaurants, but also walking on the beach until it became too cold. It was a brilliant day! Sunny and a clear blue sky. Other than that it's always great to talk to her face to face instead of via yahoo...and today we certainly had a lot to discuss!

Something she hasn't told me for 3 WEEKS! Unbelievable..and that's what you call a best friend! (just kidding Kaye) Anyway...I just want to say: I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! I won't spell out what it means, she'll know though... Just talked about relationships and intimacy and sex. Yeah, even about that... It's so good talking to her, we can talk about everything and not look at each other weirdly afterwards. So we've had a nice girly chat about these things.

Relationships are always difficult, especially when one just has ended and another one might loom on the horizon. I just hope that she knows what she's getting herself into, basically. Then again..I'm wishing her all the joy in the world and she knows it. So well, let's just see where it goes.

She could use something stable, something that makes her happy though and I definitely hope this is it... Even though they don't really call it anything just yet... *sigh* women...!

Now talking with Angela and the couch, nothing more to lie, other than that it was a great day!

Old chat buddies and more

Life rumbles on with a dazzling speed you don't even want to know. What happens then for most of us? We loose some friends, we gain less friends than we loose and we keep some. What's especially poignant is the online community. My problem is that I start with something and then never finish it, or never really stay there.

Last night I decided to go into the Unofficial JLR chat again. First time I came in there was in 1999...long time ago. I loved it there, it was like a small commmunity with people looking out for each other. But as time progressed you start doing other things, going to other places. If I now come back it so different and yet so the same. It's a lot less crowded for one. Sometime I see people in there who I've never known. But sometimes it's different: then it's the good old times (almost). I just have to go there more often, chat with my old buddies... see what they are doing in life. So Senote & Emerald, it was great chatting with you again and I promise I'll show up more often!

What else is happening: Angela's dad is in hospital. For some time he didn't feel right; almost didn't eat anything as it didn't taste him, muscle ache, coughing. The GP had told him that if he would get fever they had to call, so his girlfriend did. And that's how he ended up in hospital on Friday evening. They will start with the investigation of what is wrong on Monday, so keep your fingers crossed!

Hopefully I'm gonna see my best friend today, looking forward to it. Although the weather doesn't seem to be as good as I had hoped. We might go and drink something near the beach, get some fresh air. But I haven't seen her online yet, so we will see what happens.

Hugs, Jacqueline
